Contest Rules
What You Need to Know
- All costumes must be anime, manga, video game, or Japanese pop culture themed.
- Contestants must register at the Cosplay Contest table by 2:00 PM on Saturday.
- Costumes must be convention-appropriate. Excessively revealing or offensive costumes will not be permitted on stage.
- Props must be convention-safe. No real weapons, no sharp edges, no projectiles. All props subject to peace-bonding.
- Contestants may enter as individuals or groups of up to 6 people.
- Judging criteria includes craftsmanship, accuracy, presentation, and stage performance.
- A valid Anime Crossroads badge is required to participate.
